I have to say that I was pretty disappointed with this episode. It didn't have that special feeling (or content) that one would except when watching the 20th anniversary show.

they want to make ziggler a big name so that when he cashes in crowd make chants for him
they sacrificed Y2J
now Foley and Randy Orton

and for the main event PPV they could have done something better not like that 3 guies come up and beat ryback they could have done punk stealing pins and shell shock is not that great that cena can't put his shoulder up even after 50 sec. it was delivered.... and now we'll see Ryback going against those 3 one by one in raw and all agather at TLC...

and yep in TLC we'll see sheamus vs bigshow a tables match and cash in too....

I agree with what you're saying itsKON. I like to concentrate on what I like about WWE too, and try to constructively criticize any negatives I see. That's cool that you like to write about wrestling of the past. I find myself wanting to review old shows sometimes too.

Thanks for reading and commenting Aditya. WWE is testing my positivity towards their product after last night's RAW, but I try to focus on the positives of what's going on like the tag division and Sheamus-Big Show. And I understand why you don't endorse my Hogan fandom lol. Not many would nowadays.

I endorse every word you said in this piece (except the Hogan fandom) 100%. I strongly believe that people should stop being so negative about everything in this business. Its like they just don't give anything a chance to takeoff. Before the feud even begins or a match is just announced, you already have smarks all over the internet ripping it apart and on nothing but pure negativity. It just sucks. Good to see someone emphasizing the positive aspects of the business and reminding all of us what it is to be a fan! Great Piece. :)

I gave up on wrestling for a long time, only got back into it post-Benoit, and even then, I was mainly watching shoots. It was 2010 before i started watching the shows again and i'm not all that into what's going on at the moment.

I don't watch to bitch about what I see though, I watch for things like the Kane and D-Bry story, Tensai being Tensai, Santino playing with Iron Sheik action figures and GLORIOUS OTUNGA!

It's not that I can't enjoy anything on the show, the 3 hour RAWs just emphasize things i'm not into. TNA? I've withdrawn from since they handed Meth Hardy the title.

Over on inside pulse, i did a series of long-form interviews with other writers about wrestlers from the past. I didn't want to write about stuff I wasn't enjoying, but I still found a way to engage readers with memories of fandom.

I think that's what it's all about though. We've grew up with wrestling as a part of our lives and giving up now, just because it's not fantastic? We'd be losing a part of ourselves in some way.

The memory you have of seeing wrestling for the first time with your father, the feeling you had during Warrior v Hogan... we all have stories like that and those are the things we want to experience that again.

This week on pulse, I talk a little about making wrestling fandom fun again (as well as the latest WWE videogame and the whole Susan Komen thing they've been pushing), but have no doubt that i'll have fewer hits and comments than guys who shit all over the shows. Controversy creates cash and whatnot.

I have to go pay Bischoff some royalties...

Thanks Julius! I appreciate it. Obviously, doing reviews like we do we have to be critical at times, but I always try to remember that I watch wrestling because it's fun for me to do so.

I had to comment on this article. ECW was unique, enjoyable,and exciting in it's day. Crazy stuff in a small arena with crazy fans and badass matches. The wrestlers got bloodied on their own because of barbed wire or jumping twenty feet onto whatever was below them. Great music with attitude and at the time a nice "underground" alternative to the mainstream wrestling of it's day. Mainstream wrestling tried to get an attitude to entice the ECW fans but you knew it would never meet what the ECW fans were getting in that small venue. I remember ECW because the writer of this article let me know about it by hollering from the media room back in the day....Dad...Come hear , you've got to see this. I don't watch wrestling anymore unless I am sitting with my son, but I always check out Pinfall Magazine to see whats up and keep up with the wrestling world and to remind me of all the fun times we had watching wrestling or wrestling my then 5 year old son in our squared circle, which happened to be the master bed. Good times, Great memories.

I just wanted to say that he was hardly even negative about the match. He said Brooke has improved a lot and has had good matches, and then he even mentioned that Gail Kim WIFFED(which means messed up, if you don't know) the kick. I assume the "which Tessmacher sold" was a reference to how it made Gail's mistake look even more awkward.

Just saying, you came off sounding like you were attacking him over opinions tht he didn't type.

No the only lame part of that women's match is you trying to find fault with it, yeah as if Brooke was supposed to break rank and be unprofessional by not selling the "move" no matter how off it was; and if anything it was Gail's fault but of course, let's put it Brooke, that little model, I guess, which is an easy thing to do given that she's not an IWC favorite, wrestling wise.

I completely disagree with the Lord here, which sounds like I'm going to hell. The personal comments made in this review is what makes the review. I don't need a recap of Raw, that's why I sat through 3 hours of it last night. I come here to read the opinion of the writer not to get a blow by blow of Raw. In fact, I wish it was less recappy (not a word) and more opinionated.

Notice one major problem about this review,it wasn't impartal. Adding personal opinion was what made this review a fail. Started off great but, the moment The Rock was blasted for being dub the "greatest of all-time" is where favorites started to apper. Its now safe to say, Somebody do not like Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson.
